Cosentino also met with different representatives of multilateral credit organizations to update the work agenda that the CNV has been carrying out with said institutions in relation to the domestic capital market.
Regarding the more specific agenda, the head of the CNV referred to the conditions of the domestic capital market for corporate financing, infrastructure financing and financing for specific projects and sectors. Along these lines, he emphasized that “Argentina has productive sectors with great potential, such as energy, hydrocarbons, mining and agriculture, among others. For this reason, the capital market constitutes a lever for domestic and foreign investment in such sectors”.
On the other hand, Cosentino highlighted the work that the organization has been carrying out to coordinate with provincial governments in order to channel investors’ savings towards regional economies. In this regard, he listed the different vehicles, products and regulations that were put into practice during this administration, such as collective investment vehicles in construction and real estate businesses, infrastructure funds, venture capital vehicles, ESG funds ( Environmental, Social and Governance) and other specific products for SMEs and regional economies.
