Guadalajara firefighters mobilized this afternoon to Álvarez del Castillo street, between Obregón and Javier Mina, in Oblatos, to put out a fire in a house. No injuries are reported, but two schnauzer puppies were poisoned by smoke and died.
The fire destroyed two bedrooms on the upper floor, as well as a bathroom. Guadalajara’s first fire officer, Jesús Córdova Rivera, explains.
“We have material losses of a room of two by three, only furniture, a bed, clothes and a wardrobe.”
Owners of the farm attended the site. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to the rest of the house and adjoining farms. (By Hector Escamilla Ramirez)
